Alphabetical Inspiration for Your Little One

Sunday

Letter M is for Making Magnets

Grab your old magnets from your fridge, like all those "business card" magnets blasting advertising all over the place - because we are going to cut them up and make NEW MAGNETS.

You'll need to grab scissors, glue, cool paper and some glass marble rock beads.

All you need to do is cut out circles of paper and glue them to the clear rocks and then glue a square of magnet to the back of that.

The glass marble rock will *bubble* up your picture a little and make it look so cool!

Paper Ideas: old magazines, maps, comics....

Look how cool the magnets turned out - this is such a fun craft and so easy for your preschooler - I bet we'll do this one a few times :)

Mama Teach Me

Our first steps in preschool education is exploring the alphabet.

Unstructured yet planned, we'll learn a new letter each week and focus on daily activites to reinforce our new addition to the alphabet.

ABC Freestyle will go with the flow and include fun activities such as: alphabetically inspired art, crafts, workbooks, coloring pages, songs, games, sign language, internet treasure hunts, food, sound and word associations and also a weekly field trip known as a "Letter Outing".

Please comment on the posts and share your great alphabet ideas.
