Alphabetical Inspiration for Your Little One

Wednesday

Letter A: Art on Paper

It's a great idea to create an art wall for your weekly art projects.
At the end of the week, the smaller pages can be stored in a binder for your little one to reflect on threw out the "alphabet season".

Here's a start of our Letter A Art Wall:

Check the links in the right hand column for great printables. So far we've created "Ayden's Awesome Action Hero Apple Man" and he's colored or watercolored an Ape, an Ant, an ATV and an Apple with a sign language hand.

Tomorrow we are going to create wearable airplane wings out of an old cardboard box.

Mama Teach Me

Our first steps in preschool education is exploring the alphabet.

Unstructured yet planned, we'll learn a new letter each week and focus on daily activites to reinforce our new addition to the alphabet.

ABC Freestyle will go with the flow and include fun activities such as: alphabetically inspired art, crafts, workbooks, coloring pages, songs, games, sign language, internet treasure hunts, food, sound and word associations and also a weekly field trip known as a "Letter Outing".

Please comment on the posts and share your great alphabet ideas.
