Alphabetical Inspiration for Your Little One

Letter B Conclusion

Wow! What a Beautiful Week!

We had a Blast!

We didn't even get to do all the activities planned - like a Button and Bandaid Collage
and Bubble Painting. But we will do these at some point. The only reason we didn't do them this week is we didn't have any straws for the Bubble Painting and I couldn't find any buttons on my local Freecycle. When we get the $$ for the supplies, we will do them & I'll try to remember to snap off some pics & post them.

Ayden loved our trip to the Baseball Bat Factory! I really love it when local business owners open their doors to the public and give free tours to see the behind the scenes action!

Our bus trip was fun too -

Other B words: basketball, ballerina, banana, bee, butterfly, buffalo, bus, baseball, button, basket, baboon, box, ball, boat, bed, big, bird, bugs, bounce, bunny

Letter B Activity: Painting with Blue & Brown

Blue and Brown paints were used this week to emphasize some colors that began with the letter B. This was our first time using real paints and mom was a little freaked out with the smell and how the paint didn't stay only on the brush but it was a great way for Ayden to express himself and he had a lot of fun.

Letter B Outing: Ride on the Bus!

Let's Ride The Bus!!
We decided to hitch a dollar ride on the DuBois Bus to have a fun activity for the letter B.
We had to wait a long time but it finally pulled up to the bus stop.

Ayden had a great time on the bus!

Next we are going to see how to make a baseball bat out of a tube of wood like the ones behind Ayden!

Letter B: Art on Paper

We did so many "B" Watercolors and coloring this week - we never even got to hang them all up on the wall but we will put them into the Alpha-Binder!

Batman, butterflies, birds, bugs, a bus, bananas - lots of B stuff.

Mama Teach Me

Our first steps in preschool education is exploring the alphabet.

Unstructured yet planned, we'll learn a new letter each week and focus on daily activites to reinforce our new addition to the alphabet.

ABC Freestyle will go with the flow and include fun activities such as: alphabetically inspired art, crafts, workbooks, coloring pages, songs, games, sign language, internet treasure hunts, food, sound and word associations and also a weekly field trip known as a "Letter Outing".

Please comment on the posts and share your great alphabet ideas.
